Bug Control

One of the downsides to living out on an acreage is that the flies and other bugs are REAL.  They get in EVERYWHERE.  I swear I am one of those people that bugs LOVE too.  Here are some of the products and tricks we have found to keep them at bay.  

This spray kills them on contact.  My husband sprayed this on the wall of the garage.  If they land on the wall it kills them.  We wanted something that would be safe around our dogs and kids.  

I like to keep the garage doors open when the weather is nice.  If we are outside it’s convenient to keep it open to run in and grab pool toys.  We love to grill and cook on the blackstone too.  Our dogs love being able to run in and rest on the cool floors in the shade.  These magnetic screens are a great way to keep the bugs out and allow us to move freely and conveniently in our garage.  A hobby of mine is flipping furniture and this allows great ventilation while keeping flies off of my projects.

Does anyone else HATE those little smelly black bugs that bite and always come out like crazy when the weather starts cooling off to bearable temps in the fall??? it seems like nothing keeps them away.  That is until a co-worker told me about this spray so I gave it a shot.

My favorite bug repellent that i have had the most success with is Murphy’s.  I love the little roll on stick.  It is so convenient to keep in my purse or diaper bag to always have available on the go.
